What can you expect from your meeting with Everest?

Question time

During registration you will be taking in a lot of information, and you may have only just processed it all. If you didn’t ask all the questions you would’ve liked to or have any further queries, please don’t hesitate to message or call us and we will answer all your questions as timely as we can.

Pre-work checks

After the initial registration is complete, we will begin our pre-employment and compliance checks which include referencing, right to work and DBS checks. After receiving satisfactory references, a complete work history, valid right to work documents, a completed DBS check and all completed mandatory training we will be able to start offering you shifts. Legal checks can delay this which is outside of our control however we will keep you updated every step of the way.

Once you’re good to go and prior to attending your first shift through us we will post your ID, name badges and uniform to you.

Availability

It’s always important for us to know our candidates never feel pressured to take a certain number of shifts however it is vital for us to know your availability and keep us updated with any changes.

You only take shifts which suit your availability and that you choose to accept. There is no pressure from us, and we understand that some weeks you may want less or more hours due to other commitments. We will discuss your availability when you come to register and promise to do our best to offer shifts suited to your requirements. If you are offered a shift that you are unable to accept please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer it to other candidates.

It is also important to note that we do not charge staff for missing a shift. If you are sick or unable to attend a shift, please let us know as soon as possible and we can fill the space. Missing shifts due to unforeseen circumstances or the occasional mistake in the diary will not affect your chances for more shifts with us.
